Dutch Automotive Events organizes in addition to challenging international tours through Scandinavia also domestic automotive related events. This summer we were given the assignment to organize a tour with an important charity connected to it, namely Stichting Hulphond, we did that together with Lionsclub Doetinchem.
June 16 was the day that 43 cars went together on a tour for Stichting Hulphond. In the end they drove for only one goal, namely to raise a considerable amount for this beautiful foundation that every single day itself dedicates to a series of important tasks. The sponsor tour of Lions Doetinchem De Graafschap has delivered more than 40,000 euros for Stichting Hulphond. Entrepreneurs from the Dutch Achterhoek, support the training of therapy dogs with the money they’ve raised.
Director Rudolph Strickwold of Hulphond Netherlands is grateful for the donation. With the money, the foundation will train two special therapy dogs that can help about thirty children every year with treatments.
